What era is Pokemon Legends Arceus set in?

Pokemon Legends Arceus is slated for release in late January 2022, serving as a “prequel” to Diamond and Pearl.

Set in a bygone era of the Sinnoh region, the game appears to be based on 19th century Japan.

In a region called Hisui, the game is set long before the events of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and its remakes.

According to the developers, the goal of the game is to create Hisui’s first Pokédex.

“To catch wild Pokémon, players can study Pokémon behaviors, sneak up on them, and then throw Poké Balls,” the Pokémon Company said.

“Players can also battle wild Pokémon with their ally Pokémon.”

Unlike previous games, players enter battle by throwing the Poké Ball holding their ally Pokémon near a wild Pokémon.

The redesign is designed to make the game more immersive for players, according to the Pokémon Company.

What other games have Pokemon characters been in?

One of the most popular games in the Pokemon franchise is Pokemon GO, which was originally released in 2016.

The free mobile game uses GPS to locate and capture Pokémon, which appear just like in the real world.

Pokemon Snap is another fun game – a first-person photography game, based on a Nintendo 64 original from 1999.

Some of the Pokemon characters also appear in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros, a series of crossover fighting games featuring characters from various Nintendo universes.
